When I see a slightly out-of-focus FB photo of someone’s face while they’re sitting in their car, a photo that was obviously taken with a cell phone camera, and there’s a comment like this under it:
This picture is absolutely stunning… It’s like a photographer from TIME magazine climbed in the car witcha!
I honestly wonder if life is even worth living at all.

Either It Matters Or It Doesn't Matter
This is something my husband has said a few times and lately it’s been ringing in my ears.
For some reason, amplified in the volunteer world, there’s a tendency for people to have a scale of how much something matters that then dictates how much effort and care is put into doing that thing or into how it gets done.
I don’t agree with this methodology.

This Has Got to Stop.
I have to stop microblogging and writing short stories and short scripts. I see an article that’s three pages long and I heave a sigh and put it away. I’ve been struggling to write a feature length script for months now. All I watch are TV shows and movies feel like an eternity.
I will read the two New Yorker articles sitting my tabs. I will!
